Yar-Craft

For the pleasure of the hobbyist or true fish master, we have rentals available.  Our 16 1/2 foot Yar-Craft with steering console, up to 4 pedestal seats, casting deck, rod compartment, live well, LCD fish finder, remote-control bow mounted trolling motor, running lights and 75 hp electric start Mariner motor will fit  you in comfortable style.  Boat rental includes life jackets, minnow bucket, seat cushion/flotation device, and landing net.  Please refer to our Rates page or Fishing Package page for more information.

Our 16 foot Crestliner boats with bench and pedestal seats, LCD fish finder, and your choice of a 20 or 40 hp (4 cylinder) electric start Mariner motors fit  the "Bill".  Rentals still include life jackets, minnow bucket, seat cushion/flotation device, running lights and landing net.  Please refer to our Rates page or Fishing Package page for more information.

Boat Lifts

Our "aluminum aluminum" dock facilities are available for our guests boats (those not rented through Shore Crest).   Our aluminum Shore Station vertical lifts in each slip include dockside electricity.  Tie ups (on wooden dock) do not include electricity.   We also offer Minn-Kota 65 mhz, or 2 hp electric trolling motors.  Pleasure craft rentals including a 1998 20' Weeres pontoon boat with 50hp motor as well as others are available in conjunction with Leech Lake Recreational Rental.  Fillet and freezer service is available.  Please refer to our Rates page or Fishing Package page for more information.

Fishing options: Walleye, muskie, pike, bass or pan fish Fishing options include the structure fishing of our own Walker Bay, or a short boat trip out to the entrance to the big part of Leech Lake.  You can find pan fish in the 3 small bays only 2 minutes from our dock, or off the dock itself.   In 2001 our fishing seminar guide, Gary Trimble, caught and released several muskies in the 50 inch class.

On Sunday evenings a free fishing seminar presented by Gary Trimble (a local fishing expert with over 30 years experience), is available June through August in the main office area.

Live Bait and gas are available on our dock, as well as fish filleting and freezer facilities or services.  You'll appreciate the cleanliness and convenience of our newly remodeled fish cleaning house as you enjoy the view of South Walker Bay from the big picture window.
